Blue Prism Chief executive officer Alastair Bathgate co-founded the organization greater than 17 . 5 years back. Peter High: I chose to start with the genesis of Blue Prism in 2001. You're the co-founding father of the business with David Moss. Would you discuss the inspiration behind the concept?
Alastair Bathgate: Dave and that i labored for an additional software vendor that did collections, recoveries, and functionality. Our first customer would be a bank within the United kingdom, Barclays. We'd previous hands-on knowledge about centralizing collections and recoveries for checking accounts and private loans into one answering services company in Manchester, which uncovered numerous issues. It produced lots of efficiency improvement. The conversation that sparked Blue Prism was in the mind of change there who managed to get obvious there would be a wide unmet automation need.
